Get It Right

I’ve been trying to get it right for a long time now.

But everything I try just makes me look like a clown.

In and out of relationships just isn’t my style.

I keep it fly; the home boys call me versatile.

That isn’t my main focus let me get back on track. It’s like I don’t know who I am so I don’t know how to act.

Sounds crazy? I know it’s hard to believe. I am at home trying figure out why the hell I’m on sick leave.

Sick? I don’t fear pain, I’ve lived in it most of life.

That’s why I’m concerned about the dude that will call me his wife.

Hold up, I’m jumping the gun again, who says I’m going get married?

I’ll probably end up like Paul or even mother Mary. I know they say I’m too deep but I really don’t care.

At the end of the day none of them will be there to wipe my tears. I don’t do this for me and if I did it wouldn’t be worth squat.

I do this for Christ Jesus the one that always has my back.

A lot of things in this world try to get me side tracked. I have to keep pressing to keep the devil off my back.

He is on to me.

But regardless, I have the victory.

The righteousness of Christ that’s what is within.

I’m tired of living in defeat; I’m sick and tired of sin. A new start that’s what I crave.

But that evil defeated foe won’t leave my door.

Daddy, how about you send Gabriel down?

Get this fool from around me show him who’s the sheriff in this town.

Like Elijah said, there is more with us than those that are against us.

So those demons that keep lurking they can’t touch us.

God gave us the power to take back all you stole.

So we’re coming into your camp and we’re taking back all we own.

That includes our families, our finances, our friends and our destiny.

You held on to it for too long it’s time we show you your destiny.

You tricked Eve into thinking she needed to know. When all she needed to do was live and let the providence of God flow.

We’re back in full strength now so this is your notice. We’re kingdom builders and devil you know this.

We are ready to let the light that is within us shine like never before. We are putting on the Do Not Disturb sign on our door.

You don’t have time to rest, you don’t even have the army to fight.
