Friends

Friends are people you can always depend on.

They have your back no matter what.

They always know the right time to call.

They are not afraid to spend money when you’re at the mall.

Friends are die hard homies.

They are always real with you; they are not ‘phonies’.

They’ll give their own life to make you better.

They’re friends for life and I mean forever.

They know and love you for who God created you to be.

And they’ll let you know when you tripping and acting like a ‘wanna be’!

They always have time for you even on the busiest schedule.

They’ll never put you to shame or laugh at you in ridicule.

The LOVE they have for you, you know it’s TRUE!

It’s amazing, constructive, straight forward and never misconstrued.

The feelings they have for you are never oblivious.

Even a blind person can see, it’s just that obvious.

These people are the reason you smile.

And being around them is always worth the while.

When it feels like the world is coming down on you they are there.

Holding you up making you feel as if the entire world cares.

When this person is around, nothing or no one else matters.

They reassure you it’s going to be alright even though your life feels shattered.

Money can’t buy FRIENDS like these, they are priceless.

And trying to impersonate one is just plain worthless.

I look around trying to find someone that meets this description.

I’m in pain so I need someone to give me the right prescription.

I have been searching near and far, far and near.

But everywhere I look I can’t seem to find them there.

It hurts to know that I have come in contact with so many persons and still can’t find one.

Is that too much for a girl to ask? I think not.

I have a few people I could describe this way, but I wouldn’t be sincere.

But to you I say thanks for always being there.
