For Sarah

Life is here today then it’s gone tomorrow.

Happiness seems so insignificant when overcome by grief and sorrow.

Why things are this way we’ll never understand.

But we have to remember on The Solid Rock We STAND.

We have plans of how we want our life to be;

But in an instance it all changes so rapidly.

We ask why, how could this happen to me?

Not realizing that the plan is bigger than you and me.

We want love but instead we get hurt.

We want happiness but day-in-day out we can’t afford the price that it’s worth.

We want to belong instead but we are treated like outcasts.

We are not of this world this is why I believe we wear our masks.

We spend our lives longing for our fairy tale ending and all along it’s been here.

Christ staying on that cross, leaving the grave, this is the perfect story ending right here.

I really wanted you here, to continue to bring my sister joy.

I guess she had it for a while but God had a special plan for you.

I didn’t know you but I have great love for you.

As you grow next to the Father remember your mom and dad.

I think you being here was the best experience they both had.

What’s next for them now, I am not sure.

God is still able, so he’ll take them through another open door.

But we look forward to meeting you one day on Heaven’s glory road.
