Our Intentions
How can the same one commissioned to bring freedom be the same one to extend bondage?
The ones entrusted to heal the sick and comfort the hurting are responsible for creating the cries for help.
Understanding who we are can prove to be a strenuous task.
Uncomfortable with being open about our flaws we continue to hide behind our carefully crafted masks.
Our desire is to feed the hungry and provide sustainability to the poor,
Which only becomes a priority if it’s outside our country,
Never mind the need for this mission next door.
We tend to think we are fooling the world with our half-hearted attempt at missions.
We are only fooling ourselves,
Our hearts are filthy and these our works are carving for us a first-class ticket to Hell’s first session.
It is no use to point any fingers, majority comes back to us.
There is no use in pretending either;
We can’t hide our true intentions from the ultimate judge.
