I sat thinking of all the ways I could say goodbye;

I could not come up with a definite solution but I decided to still try.

First off, I’m thankful for the opportunity I had of knowing you.

You were a true friend in all respects and there will never be another like you.

The love you had for life and the people in it was amazing.

You saw the good in everybody and this is an understatement.

Always giving and always there to give a helping hand,

The person you aspired to be, you became that man.

I remember when we used to sit around and talk about life.

I’ll never forget that night you were messing around and asked me to be your wife. There were times we never did see eye to eye,

But you were always truthful to me; you never saw a reason to lie.

You were a great brother and a wonderful son.

You would have been an awesome father and a one-of-a-kind husband.

We really miss you but we know we have to stay strong.

But it’s hard knowing that we are not going to see you until God calls us home.

So, this is my goodbye I wish I could of said it in person,

But I’ll live my life in an ALL or NOTHING style because you were that kind of person.
