You Are Mine
This post is an excerpt from a journal entry this morning. I have decided to share it because I feel you or someone you know may benefit from this beautiful reminder I received this morning.

Abba,
This morning I realised that when I am alone, I feel like I have to build myself up to come and talk to you. Why is this?
“You think you need to prove yourself. I love you even in the times you want nothing to do with me. My arms are never folded when I am near you. They stay open longing to embrace you. My countenance towards you is not one of anger or disappointment because you haven’t tried hard enough, my countenance towards you is one of UNCONDITIONAL love and faith.
You are mine Beloved. Do you hear me?
You are mine.
Like a mother... I know you and I see you.
I know the origin of every scar and wound before they form into the insecurities you try to hide from me.
Beloved, I know you and I love you unflinchingly.
You keep thinking that you can create a shock factor to make me change my mind about you. Like a child discovering the strength of their father’s arms, you keep running in and out to see if I can always catch you.
Have I ever dropped you?
Beloved you are mine and forever you will be.”
This song by United Pursuit resonates well with the message in this post.
Listen if you have some time this week.
