Bwana
To the invader who has become the permanent occupier of this blazing heart:
You arrived with no notice;
And have remained to bleed through me like osmosis.
The school of thought you ensued to change.
The culture it once knew has been obliterated, now nothing is the same.
In the streets the vessels speak of a revolution.
Blood demands a rebellion.
Where melancholy once reigned, intense passion now rules.
The knowledge I thought I grasp to the same I am now likened to a fool.
How wrong can this be when it feels so right?
How can one embrace darkness again when exposed to this marvelous light?
You have captured my being both heart and soul.
Faith now trumps fear as this new chapter unfolds.
Sweet captivity, precious bondage
This can only be true to one indoctrinated by Love.
My invader, now my beloved occupier, you have saved my life.
"Bwana" better befits you....
